In 2006 BackwoodsRC opened its first store to help support RC Dirt off-road racing.   By 2010 the business had grown to incorporate custom parts manufacturing for all aspects of the RC hoppy and vehicles.  Around 2015 BWRC focused business on the more custom aspect of the RC world.  We specialized in custom parts and sales for RC Truck and Tractor Pulling and Combat Robotics and began to Compete on a national level.  While we still compete and manufacture parts under another business , and host these events at our shop. We have decided to use our decades or Performance related experience to start our on Brand of Batteries and Equipment.  BWRC now designs and manufactures High Current Lipo's for the performance oriented users.  We personally test out products and very proudly stand behind our claims.  We make the Highest Performance, Most reliable and affordable batteries on the market.
